Wedding Wednesday: Operation SFTD

Operation Sweating for the Dress or "SFTD" has been a bust ya'll. That mission was aborted...some time ago!! And now with 6 months left, I have A LOT of work to do!! My dress arrives at the end of February and I would like to be at least 75% toward my goal. What is my goal you may ask...yikes!! That requires some transparency that I'm not quite ready for!! But I will say this, I don't have to be stick skinny on my wedding day. I just want everything in its proper place, all my love handles under control - nice and toned is ideal. So, beginning November 1st, the mission is a go...again. This will be really tough for me because Thanksgiving, Christmas AND New Year's are right around the corner and I love to eat. But, I am bound and determined to look and feel great about how I look on my wedding day.

Any current or recent brides out there? How did you physically prepare for your big day?

Wedding Wednesday: Perfectly Pink

Vera Wang recently released her Fall 2014 Bridal Collection. Pink is definitely in!! And mind you, I considered a "pink" dress for my Spring 2014 wedding!! My mom and my sisters were against it, so I was swayed. At any rate, pink is definitely the color for the Fall 2014 wedding season! I stumbled across these images from Tom and Lorenzo.

#TGIF: Time To Recharge

Life has been pretty crazy for me lately. I turned 28 on October 2nd and have such high hopes for myself-dreams that I want to happen right this minute! On top of all that, I am in graduate school, planning a wedding, and wanting to start my own business. I have created a high stress/high anxiety environment for myself! Thankfully, I'm traveling to LSU this weekend to "TURNUP" with my sisters for LSU's homecoming. Hopefully that will help me unwind!

Fall Pumpkins

I've been seeing so many images of Pumpkins since it's Fall. I recently received a picture of a carved pumpkin that my little sister did-her first one!! And I've been talking to my mom about decorating for Fall-my favorite holiday season is Christmas. So, I decided that I'd get some pumpkins to put around my apartment.
