The Thankful Project Day 28: Free Day
I can't believe it's over!! Today is Day 28 of The Thankful Project and it's a free day-post about whatever you want. So first of all, Happy Thanksgiving! I am so excited about the family time and the yummy food I am going to experience in a few hours!
The Thankful Project Day 27: A Simple Pleasure
For day 27 of The Thankful Project, our prompt is "a simple pleasure".
This was pretty easy for me to figure out! A simple pleasure that I am thankful for is reading. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE to read!! I am an introvert, and I think that may have something to do with it. I love to communicate with words and I love that when I read, it's very easy for me to visualize the characters and "see" what it is that I am reading.
The Thankful Project Day 26: Criticism You've Received
Today's Thankful Project prompt is "criticism you've received".
The criticism that stands out the most to me is that "I am very quiet/too quiet and not very outgoing". I have been hearing that I am quiet from at least elementary school and not very outgoing has reared its ugly head as an adult. In the beginning it hurt...a lot and was very difficult for me. To this day, it's still very much a challenge.
The Thankful Project Day 24: A Physical Trait You Have
Day 24-wow! I can't believe there are only four days left, the time has really flown by! Read more about The Thankful Project here. Today's prompt is "a physical trait you have".
I think this is a very interesting prompt! I have always thought growing up that my sisters are very beautiful -still do to this day! And, I've always been able to point out how other women are beautiful. But as I've gotten older, and this really started during my college years, I've realized my own physical beauty. The traits that I am thankful for are my eyes and my smile.

The Thankful Project Day 18: A Choice
Today's prompt is about "a choice".
Let's see...I think the choice I am most thankful for is when I decided to move to Fort Worth, TX for a job. I had been in conversations with the Lord, had learned to be more grateful for what I already had-I told ya'll about that process here. That was sort of my start at learning how to be more faithful and to trust the plans that had already been laid out for me by Him.
The Thankful Project Day 16: Something You Own
Today's prompt is "something you own". Read more about The Thankful Project and link up with Kenzie, there's still time!
The Thankful Project Day 15: An Annoyance
Today’s Thankful Project prompt is “an annoyance”. What annoys me…there is a lot that I’ve noticed since A and I have moved in together to save money before the wedding. And I can share this because I’ve told him how much it gets on my nerves so it won’t be a shock to him when he reads this!
The Thankful Project Day 14: A Blessing
The Thankful Project Day 13: An Ability
Today I decided to highlight multiple abilities that I am thankful for. I thought it would be especially good for me because of what I shared on Day 1 of The Thankful Project. And, I thought it would be cool to do an ability for each year of my life, to remind me that it is a blessing to be here, and that the struggles in this world will not last forever.
The Thankful Project Day 12: An Opportunity
Today's post is about an opportunity. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to further my education. My parents always told us for as far back as I can remember that we were going to college. So, when my senior year of high school came, I applied to several colleges and applied for financial aid and that was it! In the fall I started college at the place that is now my alma mater, PVAMU.
