The Thankful Project Day 28: Free Day

happy-thanksgiving

I can't believe it's over!! Today is Day 28 of The Thankful Project and it's a free day-post about whatever you want.  So first of all, Happy Thanksgiving! I am so excited about the family time and the yummy food I am going to experience in a few hours!

I'm thankful that I discovered Kenzie's blog. My memory is getting bad- because I don't even remember how I found it, but The Thankful Project came at a much needed time for me. It led me to intentionally reflect on all the things that I am grateful for- the things that are most important at a time in my life when I am unhappy with how certain things are going. It made me take the time to appreciate what I have. It's so easy to get overwhelmed by the day-to-day that you forget to take the time to acknowledge your blessings.

The Thankful Project also made me even more excited about blogging and committing to post everyday. I have posted so much this month it blows my mind! And I discovered some amazing blogs and people in the process!

I am excited to keep this momentum going! And again, many thanks to Kenzie!

And finally, I am thankful for today. Every year I am able to gather around the table with my family, bless the food and share our thanks for one another. And of course, eat some great food!

*I won't be posting tomorrow-recovering from the food overdose and all that, but I'll be back at the start of the week!*
I hope everyone has a wonderful day with their loved ones! Remember to be thankful everyday!
